I highly recommend Hayoung! She is a very bright and talented UX researcher who brings a lot of positive energy and attitude to her work. Hayoung supported my team on a few of our biggest projects and did a fantastic job developing test plans, interviewing customers and identifying recommendations for product designers and stakeholders. On day one of joining my team she was immediately engaged and collaborated very well with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. She’s also very proactive and even shared ideas on how we could improve our presentations and sharing insights with different audiences. Great enthusiasm and work ethic!

Hayoung has been a tremendous asset to the User Experience Research team supporting UPS.com. She brought a wealth of knowledge pertaining to design research to the organization, and worked with a variety of different stakeholder to conduct concept and usability testing on several applications. From day one, she took great initiate in supporting an end-to-end usability evaluation for a newly designed UPS mobile app. Through her efforts, the design team was able to resolve several usability issues prior to the application's release. She also worked closely with designers in ongoing design sprints for the Pickup experience on UPS.com. She adeptly aided designers in translating their needs into research questions, and then developing test plans well suited to addressing design problems. She has a particular talent for presenting research findings in ways which are understandable and actionable to stakeholders. She would be a fantastic addition to any research team.

I had the privilege of working with Hayoung while mentoring her on her master's project. Collaborating with Hayoung was a pleasure, mainly due to her meticulous approach to research methods and her flair for creative design ideation. She strikes an impressive balance between academic research methods and practical industry UX research skills—an invaluable balance for UX researchers aiming to conduct rigorous yet impactful user studies. Notably, Hayoung led the planning of a design workshop for our research project. During its pilot studies, she recognized the need for more exploratory interview studies, considering the research's nascent stage. Her proactive stance and reflective approach greatly benefited the project, and I sincerely appreciated her insights. I wholeheartedly recommend Hayoung for any endeavor she chooses to pursue.
