Iām Hayoung Woo, a PhD student in Informatics at UC Irvine. My research explores the intersection of human-computer interaction, AI, and mental health.
I bring an interdisciplinary background in psychology, neuroscience, and HCI from Carnegie Mellon University, Georgia Tech, and NYU, along with applied research experience in healthcare and AI industries (Blue Cross Blue Shield, Interwell Health, UPS, Lark Health).
Currently, I investigate how AI could benefit or harm mental wellbeing in users.
